Intro to knitting for the absolute beginner.  

Student Brings: Worsted weight yarn in a solid  bright color ( NO dark colors) and size 8 straight knitting needles and pen/pencil/paper for note taking. 

Please call the store or sign up in person.  The instructor should be paid directly on the first day of class.

Level of Difficulty: Adventurous Beginner or intermediate level knitters

Skills Needed: knit, purl, knit in the round

Skills Taught: Turkish cast-on, short rows, picking up stitches

Materials Needed: Pattern, sock yarn, needles, stitch markers
